I saved a lot of WIP shots while creating this image so I thought it would be cool to show my process. Created entirely in Maya and Photoshop.

- First I do an extremely rough thumbnail and work out what I want the image to contain
- In Maya I set the camera up and block in the city. I frequently draw over test renders to help me focus on the final composition
- Next it's a case of building all of the assets and working out lighting and shader set ups
- Once the Maya set is complete and rendered I use Photoshop to paint in all of the details
- Voila! After 100+ layers ze image is complete and I can play MW2 to celebrate

Clay Workings

After working in Zbrush for a while I was reaaaally curious to try sculpting with real clay. I had nooooo idea it would be soooooooo god damn difficult. There is a whole ton of problems with him buuuut for my firstest ever real life sculpt I am kinda happy with him...... at least from the side he kinda looks ok, in an ugly sort of way.

I left him out to dry now he's all cracked and dry and fat and bad at sports and stuff. I'm a terrible mother :(

Long time no blog! Back in Newport which sucks to no end. Nothing new to report, art is still progressing at an unbearably slow pace.
